In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Ever Merciful.
Allah s.w.t. instructs in the Holy Qur'an:
i.e. And CLING all together, by virtue of the Rope of Allah and be not divided; and remember the favour of Allah which He bestowed upon you when you were enemies and He united your hearts in love, so that by His grace you became as brothers; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah explain to you His commandments that you may be guided. [3:103]
The Rope of Allah is primarily the Holy Qur'an. It is noteworthy that the gradual evolution of faith within a pious person is by clinging to the uterus of the mother, this analogy given in the chapter entitled 'the Believers', i.e. Surat ul Mu'minoon. The beautiful explanation of the parallel relationship between the growth of the foetus and faith is given in the commentary of the first 15 verses of the Surah here:
It is also noteworthy that Divine Revelation becomes the Mother for the soul of a Believer, as illustrated in Surah Aali Imran, verses 3-7, viz:
[3:3-6] "He has sent down to thee the Book containing the truth and fulfilling that which precedes it; and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel; Before this, as a guidance to the people; and He has sent down the Discrimination. Surely, those who deny the Signs of Allah shall have a severe punishment. And Allah is Mighty, Possessor of the power to requite. Surely, nothing in the earth or in the heaven is hidden from Allah. He it is Who fashions you in the wombs as He wills; there is no God but He, the Mighty, the Wise."
Just as siblings have a resemblance, likewise do those who adhere to the Qur'an, but without deviation in their hearts, as the subsequent verses warn us:
[3:7-8] "He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book; in it there are verses that are decisive in meaning — they are the basis of the Book — and there are others that are susceptible of different interpretations. But those in whose hearts is perversity pursue such thereof as are susceptible of different interpretations, seeking discord and seeking wrong interpretation of it. And none knows its right interpretation except Allah and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge; they say, ‘We believe in it; the whole is from our Lord.’ — And none heed except those gifted with understanding. - ‘Our Lord, let not our hearts become perverse after Thou hast guided us; and bestow on us mercy from Thyself; surely, Thou alone art the Bestower."
Keep in mind that Suratul Faatihah is the Ummul Kitab, the Spring of the Entire Book, and those who practice it's teachings, and not behave like donkeys [62:5], becomes the favourites of Allah s.w.t., and are favoured accordingly [4:69,70].
